About Us

Established in 1989 we currently have five modern surgeries providing NHS dental care to South Manchester area, we offer a wide variety of services and can accommodate individual requirements on all aspects of dentistry, providing NHS and cosmetic dentistry, from regular dental examination to cosmetic treatments.

We have a committed dental team with both clinical and reception staff dedicated to provide you with quality clinical care but great customer relations too. Our Principal Dentist Serena Rochford, Practice Manager Shirley Pouchly and Senior Dental Nurse Deb Willey manage a team of 6 qualified dental nurses,  3 trainee dental nurses, 9 dentists, 1 Hygienist, and 2 receptionists. All our dental professionals take part in Continuing Professional Development, by attending courses which are in our patients’ best interests and meeting the General Dental Council requirements. We aim to keep up to date with current thinking and training.

At the practice we base our advice for patients on the “Delivering Better Oral Health” evidence based toolkit, dentists use this toolkit to provide patients of all ages with the best prevention and oral care advice. We do this by offering tooth brushing/oral hygiene instruction, fluoride application and diet advice. This can vary from an informal chat on your examination visit to a demonstration and advice session by one of our trained clinical team.

Jan 2021 – “I’m an extremely nervous patient I visited the practice the week before Christmas and had I temporarily filling and on the 6th January had the tooth removed on both visits I was treated extremely kindly and they did everything they could to put me at ease the whole team were lovely professional people and I will not be afraid to visit again I can’t thank them enough definitely a 10/10 from me.”

Feb 2021 – “In October I was in excruciating pain and was given an emergency appointment. They were very covid aware and all precautions were adhered to. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The Dentist was very understanding (I am a nervous patient) and put me totally at ease. I had a tooth removed, it was so quick and painless I didn’t realise it was done. I am on their Facebook page and receive daily posts from them. I enjoy reading and responding and this keeps us connected in this pandemic situation. Keep up the good work folks.”
